Client: Boarding School Co.

I may be biased, but, my favorite branding project has been working on Boarding School Collective.

Why? Because it’s a company I started and it’s work I love.

Boarding School is a Portland, Oregon based design collective providing bespoke invitations, fine paper goods, and limited day-of signage items for weddings and events.
Established in 2016 in Austin, Texas we have created cohesive visual identities, luxury paper goods and unique signage for our discerning clients-
both working directly with brides & grooms and their families, as well as industry-leading wedding planners.

We collaborate with world-class vendors and wedding professionals and are consistently featured in many reputable online and print publications including
Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Grey Likes WeddingsMagnolia Rouge, Green Wedding Shoes, Artfully Wed, Carats & Cake, Ruffled Blog, and Southern Weddings.

The brand needed to reflect a maximalist, artistic, but high-end feel to appeal to clients in a crowded market. It was achieved with a limited, refined color palette, sophisticated serif fonts, and by pulling inspiration from the “East Coast Ivy League” aesthetic.

BSC brand identity runs as deep as the way the final product is photographed. Artful, offset, bright and full of textural details are a requirement.

Bsco. is known for Illustrative details and hand-drawn lettering + calligraphy.
